AUGUST 2024
THINGS WE LISTENED TO
Dear Reader,
What a month August has been! It started off with a real bang: Matthew .... was kidnapped by Nazis who shaved his head shortly before he was due to de-flower Eva's squash hand 00 . Luckily, the eventful day ended with the discovery of an exquisite Vietnamese market 00 in Lichtenberg, which - despite the brief shock of finding coriander in the spring rolls - can be considered a success that we will return to in future newsletters.
August also saw Eva & Matthew's their first karaoke duos: I will Survive by Gloria Gaynor 11 (shout out to Andrew Read 0..' ) and It's Raining Men by the Weather Girls llll. The roof of the venue was quite literally blown off by Mr. Read's rich baritone and Ms. Schnarrenberger's sweet mezzo-soprano.
You may recall from our July newsletter that Matthew had been introduced to the Schnarrenberger parents and brother 00 in Switzerland, marking a significant development. This trend held strong throughout the next month, with Matthew being introduced to not one, but two of Eva's friends. We'll see what September has in store for our two young peeps.
It would be remiss of us to sign off this newsletter without mentioning the most surprising turn of events this month. Against all odds, Ms. Schnarrenberger actually returned to Hosemannstr 63 for another night in Mr. Read's 90cm bed 000 . It would appear that - despite all the talk of being traumatised by "sleeping" in such a small bed - the offer was simply too good to refuse.
The summer may be drawing to a close, folks, but Operation Poulpe 00 remains full of promise - stay tuned for our Autumn deals
With muchos hugs,
The Pappelalleeistas
